I use the RunKeeper iPhone app and bought the Half Marathon Beginner 24-week course. My shin splint injury in March meant that I had to stop running for 5 weeks. After taking precautions to avoid a repeat of the shin splints (ASICS Foundation-9 shoes, special stretching exercises), I restarted the course a few weeks ago. Tonight, I walked/ran Week 4 Day 3. Slow and steady is the name of the game. So far, so good.
